Geometric Motion for Québecor Headquarters

Softmotion worked with artist Josée Pedneault to create a panoramic three-phase lenticular installation for the Québecor headquarters lobby. The result is a kinetic mural that shifts between three geometric compositions as viewers move through the space.

Pedneault’s piece, “Comédie Variable”, was conceived specifically for the headquarters’ central hall. Inspired by cubes, stars, and wheels, the artwork uses geometric forms to explore movement, rhythm, and pattern. Through Softmotion’s lenticular production, these motifs transition smoothly from one image to another, creating a sense of continual transformation.

Softmotion produced the mural as a series of large-format lenticular tiles, each calibrated for seamless transitions and clarity at viewing distance. The installation comes to life through pedestrian movement, offering a dynamic visual experience throughout the day.

By integrating art, architecture, and motion, the Québecor installation demonstrates how architectural lenticular design can energize corporate environments and connect employees and visitors to a shared creative experience.
