Bringing Engineering to Life at the Eaton Experience Center

Softmotion created a 144-foot lenticular flip installation for the Eaton Experience Center in Cleveland. Designed in collaboration with Ralph Appelbaum Associates, the mural demonstrates Eaton’s technologies in motion, turning complex engineering concepts into an immersive visual journey.

Client Eaton
Location Houston, Texas
Size 144 ft.

The lenticular storyboard showcases Eaton products across Hydraulics, Aerospace, Vehicles, Electrical Systems, and Industrial applications. Through the two-phase flip effect, each scene transitions between cause and effect, revealing how Eaton solutions operate in real environments.

Installed along the curved entry walkway of the Eaton Center, the mural animates subtly as visitors move past it, offering an artistic view of the breadth of Eaton’s expertise. Its scale and clarity allow viewers to see systems come to life before their eyes.

Recipient of an SEGD Merit Award, the installation demonstrates how architectural lenticular design can turn corporate storytelling into a dynamic, educational, and highly engaging experience.
