The Company
Softmotion is a world class designer and printer of animated 3D/4D lenticular images.

The Process
In lenticular imaging, a series of images are created from slightly different perspectives. These are compressed into a single image composed of narrow stripes, then interlaced or matched to a specially designed plastic lenticular sheet.
The Softmotion® lenticular process allows to print an image directly onto the lenticular sheet made of PETG Eastar Copolyester material.
We use a lenticular sheet manufactured with specs that meets all FDA requirements for food contact.
The printed lenticular visual displays a sequence of different images when viewed from different angles.
Thus, a single visual is created to tell a story or present a product portfolio.

Oce Printing Technology
We use the newest award-winning Océ Arizona printer to print directly on the lens with UV inks. This process is ideal for outdoor signage and permanent display applications.

Lithographic Printing
Our winning arguments are process stability, state of the art equipment and perpetual technologies R&D. We mostly use stochastic screens of approximately 20 micron, which is the equivalent to a 800 lpi screen ruling, the ultimate resolution lithography has to offer for plastic substrates only.
